CELEBRAZIONE DEL 50° ANNIVERSARIO DEL GRAN PRIORATO DI FINLANDIA

Il Gran Priorato di Finlandia ha celebrato il suo 50° anniversario a Turku il 26 aprile 2025 con un'illustre riunione di oltre 100 partecipanti. Turku ha un significato speciale per il Gran Priorato in quanto sua sede spirituale, essendo stata il luogo della prima investitura e del servizio ecumenico nel 1975. La celebrazione è stata onorata dalla presenza del Gran Maestro, S.A.S. Don Francisco de Borbón Graf von Hardenberg GCLJ.

I festeggiamenti sono iniziati con una funzione ecumenica tenutasi nella Cattedrale di Turku. Il sermone è stato pronunciato dall'arcivescovo Tapio Luoma, Primate della Chiesa evangelica luterana di Finlandia.

La processione cerimoniale del Gran Priorato ha aperto e concluso il servizio, aggiungendo un tocco solenne e festoso alla splendida devozione. Nel suo sermone, l'arcivescovo Luoma ha sottolineato che l'empatia e l'incontro genuino con un altro essere umano portano luce nelle vite oscurate dalle tenebre. La luce porta sollievo e conforto, dà speranza e coraggio. Con queste parole, ha esteso la sua benedizione e la sua forza all'Ordine nel suo lavoro.

Nel suo discorso di benvenuto, il Gran Priore Helena Pesola ha ricordato ai partecipanti che il continuo sviluppo delle nostre attività è fondamentale per la vitalità del nostro Ordine negli anni a venire. La nostra missione rimane necessaria, e i nostri forti valori e il senso di comunità ci guidano nel continuare il nostro lavoro in mezzo alle sfide del mondo.

Il discorso di anniversario è stato pronunciato da S.E. Chev. Matti Vuoria GCIrLJ, che ha ricoperto il ruolo di Gran Referendario e Gran Custode del Gran Consiglio Magistrale. Ha portato i suoi saluti anche il Referendario Andreas Rademachers KCLJ dal Gran Baliato di Germania.

50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION GRAND PRIORY OF FINLAND

The Grand Priory of Finland celebrated its 50th anniversary in Turku on 26 April 2025 with a distinguished gathering of over 100 participants. Turku holds special significance for the Grand Priory as its spiritual home, being the location of the first investiture and ecumenical service in 1975. The celebration was honoured by the presence of the Grand Master, H.E. Don Francisco de Borbón Graf von Hardenberg GCLJ.

The festivities began with an ecumenical service held in Turku Cathedral. The sermon was delivered by Archbishop Tapio Luoma, Primate of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

The Grand Priory's ceremonial procession both opened and concluded the service, adding a solemn and festive touch to the beautiful devotion. In his sermon, Archbishop Luoma emphasised that empathy and the genuine encounter with another human being bring light into lives shadowed by darkness. Light brings relief and comfort—it gives hope and courage. With these words, he extended his blessing and strength to the Order in its work.

In her welcome address, Grand Prior Helena Pesola reminded attendees that continuous development of our activities is key to the vitality of our Order in the years to come. Our mission remains necessary, and our strong values and sense of community guide us in continuing our work amidst the challenges of the world.

The anniversary address was delivered by H.E. Chev. Matti Vuoria GCIrLJ, serving as both Grand Referendary and Grand Custodian in the Grand Magistral Council. Greetings were also conveyed by Referendary Andreas Rademachers KCLJ from the Grand Bailiwick of Germany.
