L’avv. Francesco Greco, OLJ, è stato eletto, lo scorso 21 gennaio 2022, Vice Presidente del Consiglio Nazionale Forense (CNF), l’istituzione apicale del Sistema Ordinistico nel quale è regolamentata, in Italia, e nella maggior parte dei Paesi a tradizione continentale, l’Avvocatura.

La nuova legge professionale forense (legge 31 dicembre 2012, n. 247) conferma il ruolo centrale rivestito dal CNF nell’ordinamento della professione, che è stato sempre esercitato nella piena consapevolezza della responsabilità sociale dell’Avvocatura quale sicuro presidio per la tutela dei diritti, in assidua e proficua collaborazione con gli organi di Governo e con l’ordine giudiziario.

L’avv. Francesco Greco, che ha al suo attivo una lunga e qualificata carriera forense ed accademica, è stato, tra l’altro, in precedenza Presidente dell’Associazione Italiana Giovani Avvocati e Presidente del Consiglio dell’Ordine degli Avvocati di Palermo, ed in atto ricopre anche le funzioni di Giudice tributario.

E' membro dell'Ordine di San Lazzaro di Gerusalemme dal mese di luglio 2021, avendo ricevuto l'investitura con il grado di Ufficiale.

LAWYER FRANCESCO GRECO, OLJ, ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF THE NATIONAL FORENSIC COUNCIL

Lawyer Francesco Greco, OLJ, was elected, on 21 January 2022, Vice President of the National Bar Council (CNF), the apex institution of the Ordinary System in which the Bar is regulated in Italy, and in most countries with continental tradition.

The new law on the legal profession (Law No. 247 of 31 December 2012) confirms the central role played by the CNF in the regulation of the profession, which has always been exercised in full awareness of the social responsibility of the Bar as a safe guardian for the protection of rights, in assiduous and fruitful cooperation with government bodies and the judiciary.

Lawyer Francesco Greco, who has a long and qualified legal and academic career to his credit, was, among other things, previously President of the Italian Association of Young Lawyers and President of the Council of the Bar Association of Palermo, and he is currently also a Tributary Judge.

He has been a member of the Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem since July 2021, having been invested with the rank of Officer.
