NASCE LA SAN LAZZARO ODV

L’Assemblea dei soci riunitasi il 22 settembre 2025 ha deliberato la trasformazione della San Lazzaro Onlus in San Lazzaro ODV (Organizzazione di Volontariato) nel contesto del c.d. Terzo Settore.

Le Organizzazioni di Volontariato (Odv) sono enti finalizzati a svolgere attività di interesse generale in favore di terzi avvalendosi in modo prevalente del volontariato dei propri associati. Sono state introdotte nell’ordinamento italiano dalla Legge 266/1991 e in seguito parificate alle Onlus.

In base al Codice del Terzo Settore l’Organizzazione di Volontariato è un Ente del Terzo Settore e pertanto deve presentarne le caratteristiche essenziali, quindi l’assenza di fini di lucro e lo svolgimento in via principale o esclusiva di un’attività d’interesse generale.

La nuova veste giuridica consentirà un più ampio spettro di azione alla San Lazzaro.

SAN LAZZARO ODV IS BORN

The Shareholders' Meeting held on 22 September 2025 approved the transformation of San Lazzaro Onlus into San Lazzaro ODV (Voluntary Organisation) within the context of the so-called Third Sector.

Voluntary Organisations (Odv) are entities aimed at carrying out activities of general interest in favour of third parties, mainly through the voluntary work of their members. They were introduced into Italian law by Law 266/1991 and subsequently equated with Onlus.

According to the Third Sector Code, a Voluntary Organisation is a Third Sector Entity and must therefore have the essential characteristics of such an entity, i.e. it must be non-profit-making and carry out activities of general interest as its main or exclusive purpose.

The new legal status will allow San Lazzaro to take a wider range of actions.
