CELEBRATE LE INVESTITURE NEL GRAN BALIATO DI FINLANDIA

Il Capitolo e le investiture del Gran Priorato di Finlandia si sono tenuti a Tampere dal 14 al 16 novembre 2025.

Sabato, la funzione ecumenica si è tenuta nella Cattedrale luterana di Tampere.

Durante l'investitura, otto nuovi membri sono stati accolti (appartenenti alle Delegazioni di Santa Margherita, Santa Maria, San Nicola e della Santa Croce), tre sono stati promossi e due sono stati premiati. Nel corso della cerimonia il Gran Priore ha pure nominato il Cavaliere Marko Savolainen come Commendatore della Commenda di San Lorenzo a decorrere dal 1° gennaio 2026.

Nella cattedrale, i Kotkan pojat (I ragazzi di Kotka) hanno accompagnato la processione con le trombe e le esibizioni del coro Händel hanno arricchito l'atmosfera solenne.

Nel suo discorso, il Gran Prior Helena Pesola ha sottolineato che nessun membro è solo un numero nelle statistiche, ma una persona le cui capacità e personalità arricchiscono il nostro lavoro. La nostra missione si basa su sfide a misura d'uomo e la richiesta dei nostri sforzi caritatevoli continua a crescere in un mondo in rapida evoluzione.

CELEBRATED THE INVESTITURES IN THE GRAND BAILIWICK OF FINLAND

The Chapter and investitures of the Grand Priory of Finland were held in Tampere from 14 to 16 November 2025.

On Saturday, the ecumenical service was held in Tampere Lutheran Cathedral.

During the investiture, eight new members were welcomed (belonging to the Delegations of St. Margaret, St. Mary, St. Nicholas and the Holy Cross), three were promoted and two were awarded. During the ceremony, the Grand Prior also appointed Knight Marko Savolainen as Commander of the Commenda of St. Lawrence with effect from 1 January 2026.

In the cathedral, the Kotkan pojat (The Boys of Kotka) accompanied the procession with trumpets and performances by the Händel choir enriched the solemn atmosphere.

In her speech, Grand Prior Helena Pesola emphasised that no member is just a number in the statistics, but a person whose skills and personality enrich our work. Our mission is based on human-scale challenges, and the demand for our charitable efforts continues to grow in a rapidly changing world.
