LEGAME UFFICIALE DEL GRAN PRIORATO DI SPAGNA CON LA DIOCESI DI MALAGA

Il Gran Priorato di Spagna è ufficialmente legato (attraverso il Vescovado di Malaga) alla Fraternità del Padre Nostro Gesù El Cautivo (Il prigioniero), Santa Marta, San Lázaro e Maria di Betania a Marbella.

Quest'anno la Fraternità ha realizzato il nuovo piedistallo di Nostro Padre Gesù El Cautivo ed ha offerto uno spazio sul piedistallo per collocare la croce dell’Ordine. La Fraternità ha anche aggiunto un nuovo stendardo con ricamata la Croce dell’Ordine e l'immagine di San Lazzaro.

L'inserimento della croce dell'Ordine sul nuovo piedistallo e lo striscione ricamato con la croce e San Lazzaro simboleggiano non solo la continuità storica, ma anche la fede viva nell'azione. Il collegamento attraverso il Vescovado di Malaga aggiunge un livello di riconoscimento ufficiale, ancorando la relazione nel più ampio quadro ecclesiastico.

La Fraternità ha la sua base nella chiesa di La Encarnacion a Marbella e le processioni del Martedì Santo a Marbella sono precedute dalle dame e dai cavalieri dell'Ordine.

The Grand Priory of Spain is officially linked (through the Bishopric of Malaga) to the Fraternity of Our Father Jesus El Cautivo (The Prisoner), Santa Marta, San Lázaro and Maria of Bethany in Marbella.

This year the Fraternity made the new pedestal of Our Father Jesus El Cautivo and offered a space on the pedestal to place the Order's cross. The Fraternity also added a new banner embroidered with the Cross of the Order and the image of St Lazarus.

The placing of the Order's cross on the new pedestal and the embroidered banner with the cross and St Lazarus symbolise not only historical continuity but also living faith in action. The connection through the Bishopric of Malaga adds a level of official recognition, anchoring the relationship in the wider ecclesiastical framework.

The Fraternity has its base in the church of La Encarnacion in Marbella and the Holy Tuesday processions in Marbella are preceded by the ladies and knights of the Order.
