CONTINUA IL PROGETTO “SANITA’ SOLIDALE” DELLA SAN LAZZARO ONLUS

Prosegue con grande successo l’iniziativa della sanità solidale promossa dalla San Lazzaro Onlus – braccio operativo del Gran Baliato di Sicilia dell’Ordine di San Lazzaro di Gerusalemme – in collaborazione con la Karol strutture sanitarie, l’Asp di Palermo e la Caritas, che prevede visite gratuite per le persone indigenti di Palermo, che hanno difficoltà ad accedere alle cure.

Il 19 febbraio circa un centinaio di persone si sono sottoposte a check di base, a visite ginecologiche e check-up cardiologico presso le strutture della Karol e si proseguirà il 19 marzo con i check-up ortopedici. Si continuerà con cadenza mensile.

L’obiettivo del progetto denominato “Sanità solidale” è quello di garantire assistenza sanitaria gratuita a quei soggetti che sono ai margini della società e che non sono nelle condizioni di poter provvedere alla tutela della propria salute.

THE "SOLIDARITY HEALTH" PROJECT OF SAN LAZZARO ONLUS CONTINUES

The solidarity health initiative promoted by the San Lazzaro Onlus - the operational arm of the Grand Bailiwick of Sicily of the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem - in cooperation with Karol health facilities, the Palermo Provincial Health Authority and Caritas, which provides free check-ups for poor people in Palermo who find it difficult to access treatment, continues with great success.

On 19 February, about a hundred people underwent basic check-ups, gynaecological examinations and cardiological check-ups at the Karol facilities, and this will continue on 19 March with orthopaedic check-ups. This will continue on a monthly basis.

The aim of the "Sanità solidale" project is to guarantee free health care to those who are on the margins of society and who are not in a position to provide for their own health.
