INVESTITURE NEL GRAN BALIATO DI GERMANIA ED INSEDIAMENTO DEL NUOVO GRAN BALÌ

Il 15- 17 maggio 2026, a Düsseldorf, si è tenuta la cerimonia di investitura del Gran Baliato di Germania, alla cui ha partecipato anche una delegazione olandese.

Clemens Stroetmann, attuale Gran Balì, ha ceduto il suo incarico ad Andreas Rademachers, mentre Benjamin Rosenthal è stato nominato cancelliere.

Erano presenti il Gran Maestro ed il Gran Priore Ecclesiastico.

Durante il servizio ecumenico presso la Chiesa cattolica “Maxkirche” sei postulanti sono stati ammessi come membri dell'Ordine. 

La celebrazione è stata accompagnata con i canti dell'Opera di Stato di Monaco e della Filarmonica di Berlino.

Il sindaco Josef Hinkel ha ricevuto l'Ordine nella sala Jan-Wellem del municipio e nel suo discorso ha sottolineato gli stretti legami tra la città e l'Ordine.

Il Gran Balì uscente Stroetmann ha ricevuto la medaglia d'oro al merito per i suoi oltre quarant'anni di impegno.

INVESTITURE IN THE GRAND BAILIWICK OF GERMANY AND INSTALLATION OF THE NEW GRAND BAILIFF

The investiture ceremony of the Grand Bailiwick of Germany was held in Düsseldorf on May 15-17, 2026, also attended by a Dutch delegation.

Clemens Stroetmann, the current Grand Bailiff, handed over his office to Andreas Rademachers, while Benjamin Rosenthal was appointed Chancellor.

The Grand Master and the Ecclesiastical Grand Prior were present.

During the ecumenical service at the Catholic Church “Maxkirche”, six postulants were admitted as members of the Order.

The celebration was accompanied by singing from the Munich State Opera and the Berlin Philharmonic.

Mayor Josef Hinkel received the Order in the Jan-Wellem Hall of the City Hall and in his speech emphasized the close ties between the city and the Order.

The outgoing Grand Bailiff, Stroetmann, received the Gold Medal of Merit for his more than forty years of service.
