Sua Eccellenza Vincent Keaveny, Cavaliere di Gran Croce dell’Ordine di San Lazzaro di Gerusalemme, appartenente al Gran Priorato di Inghilterra e Galles, è stato eletto 693° Lord Mayor della City di Londra.

Irlandese di Dublino, cattolico, si è laureato all'University College con un Bachelor of Civil Law e successivamente un Master of Letters al Trinity College di Dublino.

E’ un partner dello studio legale internazionale DLA Piper. Fornisce consulenza sui mercati dei capitali di debito, sulla finanza strutturata e sulle operazioni di cartolarizzazione nel Regno Unito e su banche, istituzioni finanziarie e clienti aziendali nel Regno Unito e a livello internazionale su operazioni bancarie, finanziarie e sui mercati dei capitali.

His Excellency Vincent Keaveny, GCLJ, GCrLJ, elected the 693rd Lord Mayor of the City of London

His Excellency Vincent Keaveny, Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, belonging to the Grand Priory of England and Wales, has been elected the 693rd Lord Mayor of the City of London.

A Dublin Irish Catholic, he graduated from University College with a Bachelor of Civil Law and later a Master of Letters from Trinity College Dublin.

He is a partner in the international business law firm, DLA Piper. He advises on debt capital markets, structured finance and securitisation transactions in the UK and banks, financial institutions and corporate clients in the UK and internationally on banking, finance and capital markets transactions.

He is listed as a leading practitioner in his area of practice by all of the principal legal directories and is included in the legal ‘500’ Hall of Fame for securitisation practitioners. Until May 2019 he was International Co-Chair of the Financial Services Sector at DLA Piper. In 2014/15 he served as President of the City of London Law Society.

He is an Honorary Bencher of Gray’s Inn.

He served as Sheriff of the City of London in 2018-19. Since his election, he has served on a number of City of London Corporation Committees.

He also a Governor of the City of London School and Co-Chair of the HMT & BEIS Socio-Economic Diversity Taskforce.
