CERIMONIA DI INVESTITURA NEL GRAN PRIORATO DI SPAGNA

(La cerimonia di investitura presso la Chiesa di San Manuel e San Benito)

L'11 ed il 12 novembre 2022 si è svolta a Madrid la cerimonia di investitura delle Dame e dei Cavalieri dell'Ordine di San Lazzaro di Gerusalemme. Hanno avuto l’ammissione nell’Ordine cinque Dame ed undici Cavalieri, oltre a cinque Cavalieri della categoria di merito.

Venerdì pomeriggio si è svolto a porte chiuse la veglia d'armi dei Postulanti nella cappella di Nuestra Señora de la Portería, la cappella privata del Priore, presieduta dal Gran Maestro Emerito, Don Francisco de Borbón, Duca di Siviglia e Grande di Spagna.

L'Inquisitore delle Cause, Don Emilio Aleman de la Escosura, ha ratificato l'idoneità dei postulanti al buon sviluppo della missione svolta dall'Ordine, dimostrando il loro impegno, dopo di che hanno prestato il Giuramento di Fedeltà.

In un atto intimo e riflessivo, ai postulanti sono state ricordate le esigenze di dedizione, devozione e volontà di fare del bene per servire sotto lo stendardo della Croce di Sinopoli.

La cerimonia di investitura si è svolta il giorno successivo nella Chiesa di San Manuel e San Benito, presieduta dal Gran Maestro dell'Ordine, Don Francisco de Borbón von Hardenberg, Conte von Hardenberg.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY IN THE GRAND PRIORY OF SPAIN

(The Vigil of Arms of the Postulants in the chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Portería)

On 11 and 12 November 2022, the investiture ceremony of the Dames and Knights of the Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem took place in Madrid. Five Ladies and eleven Knights were admitted to the Order, as well as five Knights of Merit.

On Friday afternoon, the Vigil of Arms of the Postulants took place behind closed doors in the chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Portería, the Prior's private chapel, presided over by the Grand Master Emeritus, Don Francisco de Borbón, Duke of Seville and Grand of Spain.

The Inquisitor of the Causes, Don Emilio Aleman de la Escosura, ratified the suitability of the postulants for the good development of the Order's mission, demonstrating their commitment, after which they took the Oath of Fidelity.

In an intimate and reflective act, the postulants were reminded of the demands of dedication, devotion and willingness to do good to serve under the banner of the Cross of Sinopolis.

The investiture ceremony took place the following day in the Church of San Manuel and San Benito, presided over by the Grand Master of the Order, Don Francisco de Borbón von Hardenberg, Count von Hardenberg.
